Interview with Giampaolo Lugoboni

What does your work involve?
I work with the owners of the companies and the workers, I try to give them what they need. I deal with technical expertise regarding machinery ranging from mechanics to electrical systems. In addition, mine is a 360-degree role as we cover all areas of production, from technical assistance of machinery for production, to moving, up to the bottling of wine. We get the necessary materials and design these machinery systems, ensuring optimal operation and maintenance of the same.

What kind of machinery do you provide to Farina?
We provide a set of machines, from the conveyors for the grapes, to the destemming machines up to the pumps that are used to move the must from the different containers. So everything related to the technical aspect, with our different skills we try to give the best service possible by combining different machines with each other.

How long have you been collaborating with Farina?
We have been collaborating for about 10 years. Are you only specialized in the wine sector? Mainly wine. This is because I started working for a well-known winery in the area as a technical representative and then I chose to make of this job an independent profession. After gaining expertise I decided to start my own business and personally take care of this sector.
How many companies in the area do you follow?
I take care of many companies in Valpolicella. My work is really unique: I create the product specifically for my client and I make a tailor-made consultancy to better solve their doubts and problems.

What do you think of Farina as a company?
They are a wonderful family. Working with them is a real satisfaction.

If you were to give yourself a nickname, what would it be?
Mr. Precise, precision and attention to detail are essential in my job.
